Good luck on your essay! I can relate... It did definitely help my anxiety to start things sooner, so the overhanging sense of dread and anxiety that's it's coming up soon would lessen in intensity.
Is it for a specific class? English or Social Studies or something else? You mention it was "persuasive." Is there anything that you are passionate about? What do you think would be easy to persuade someone else on.... Then sometimes, I work the opposite angle and try to argue on the opposite side. That makes it a little more interesting, as I usually don't know the other side and it keeps me on my toes... (feels less boring... and emotionally more challenging to hear the other side, and also good for the mind)...
Do you have an interest in protection of the environment, elders, children, mental health, our diet, animals, factory farming, poluted water, toxins... organic food... our political system, exercising, media images of men and women, retirement communities? Anything you are passionately advocating about in your life?
Sometimes it just help someone to have something to bounce thoughts off of! I have full faith in you and believe in you! You've got this! Good luck!

"higher incidences of suicide in LGBTQ+ community...", "how to improve mental health support for LGBTQ+ community..."
"higher suicide rates"..."human rights disparity" "discrimination" "spreading awareness" and effects on Mental Health .... I can also think of media portrayal and how it effects self image and mental health... Sounds like a super rich topic with tons of things you can write persuasively about! Dive in and have fun! Your writing is beautiful, Avies! I found writing in a journal and not worrying about any of the formalities helps to develop a flow in thoughts and in writing. I think reading lots of books also helps in writing too! You sound like you work very hard at writing. I had a lot of people edit my work and that helped a lot! That sounds like what you are already doing. My English major friends helped a lot. Other times editors and teachers helped. It just takes time and practice. Usually they recommend for formal writing to avoid passive voice. :) Good luck with your writing!

I also can never find good topics for an essay when needed. It annoys me so much! But now I started using https://writinguniverse.com/expository-essay-topics/ to find examples of essay topics. It's really convenient, I spend less time looking for my own topic. All homework from all subjects I do excellent as from mathematics, history, foreign languages, but not writing an essay! I hope that in time I will be able to write them quickly and efficiently.
