Daily check in 11/07
Today has been a bad day. Its been difficult dealing with my anxiety. I couldnt fall asleep until noon. Ive been so anxious and stressed out that it keeps me up all night. I managed to call and set up an appointment with a therapist tomorrow. So that gives me hope. I wont give up yet.

Hi daisy 😃, it so nice to see you in the forum. Am sorry about the tough time you are going through, but that's really a good step you have taken to have appointment with your therapist 👍. Maintaining a journal can help a lot as well.

I'm so sorry to hear that you haven't been doing well with your anxiety. I'm really happy that you have an appointment with a therapist, and I would love to hear how that goes! For me, a DBT skill called TIPP really helps. It's an acronym that stands for Temperature (usually holding onto something cold like an ice pack), Intense Exercise (if you struggle with body image or eating then I reccomend skipping this), Paced breathing (in for 3, hold for 4, out for 5), and Paired muscle relaxation. I hope this helps and that you start feeling better!
