Medicine for anxiety, lower heart rate?

NewHorizon5544 August 24th, 2023

Hello,

Has anyone who's taken medicine for anxiety seen a significant decrease in heart rate? If so, how was it handled?

Thanks for any feedback!

Ps : (I am in communication with my doctor regarding my concerns 🙂)

Hello NewHorizon,

That is good question, thank you for asking.

Beta blockers, which is a common anxiety medication, helps relieve the physical effects such as racing heart rates. I am not on a Beta blocker, so I don't have any experience personally.

Glad to hear you are in communication with your doctor, and hopefully on the list of communications is the lower heart rate.

If not, highly highly recommend it being added onto the list
