Forced into quitting my job

TiaLeopard11 February 25th

I’ve tried to go back to work recently after a leg injury and they haven’t been helping me at all. They didn’t give me a slow return like my doctor said so and threatened dismissal, which severely affected my mental health. I felt useless, panicked and intimidated. So I didn’t have much choice but to resign.

I'm extremely worried and anxious about my chances of finding another job. I need my doctor’s help desperately. I just want to be happy and enjoy life again like I did before my injury.

of course employment law differs in many places but not following a medical professional orders on a return to work in some places the business can be fined severely ....

if it is just your immediate supervisor go over their head sometimes it takes a real threat of legal action will make them back down ...

they want you to quit ........because they know if they are caught you have grounds for a lawsuit and if you Quit they do not need to pay unemployment ..... it is your choice but if you stay do what you can and not sweat the rest IF they tried to fire you you are solid if you quit they will claim it is other then your ability to come back from an injury .... consult an employment attorney if needed most initial consults can be free in many places.

Honestly I don’t have the mental strength to get lawyers involved. I know the way I’ve been treated is wrong but I’m so tired of trying to defend myself every day.
