Anyone "cured"?

I'd be curious to hear from anyone who feels they are pretty much cured from anxiety disorders now and how they did it?

I've got close to having a pretty much "normal" like with cbt, mindfulness, meditation, lifestyle improvements etc but then a life event (bereavement etc) or returning to bad habits puts me right back in the same stupid thought traps.

Not sure anyone who cured would even be reading this since they are probably living their life but you never know...😀

@skyemaidstone I would think some can cure from anxiety, and many have lows and highs. But with all mental health problems I think it's more about working to live alongside it. Know your triggers, know your limits, know what helps  you, and then hopefully in the bad times, it won't seem so bad ❤ gives you a giant tiny hug ❤ I hope you get better soon ❤

@skyemaidstone Hey!

Firstly, I hope you are doing well. Secondly, as someone diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, I sometimes wonder if there is such a thing as being fully cured. Not to sound negative, haha, improvement is definitely possible, but it sure as he.ll takes time. Relapses and episodes of anxiety aren't uncommon. They're part of the healing journey. Even people without an official "tag" struggle with anxiety from time to time. So, you're not alone in this. Healing is a process, and it's okay to have ups and downs along the way.

And regarding your comment about "cured" people living their lives, it's important to remember that all humans face struggles. I haven't met anyone who isn't worried about something—it's a natural part of life. This platform is full of people who are either on their journey to recovery or have already recovered and want to help others do the same. We're all in this together, supporting each other along the way.

P.s. I know what you intended to say, but I just wanted to put up another positive perspective. Take care ;)
