my name is Katie and I'm new here. I have anxiety and social anxiety. I also have depression and grief. My anxiety gets bad when I'm in a big crowd. I get panic attacks and my face starts to get red and my heart races. What can I do to help no have these

Hi Katie, I'm sorry this is happening to you, I know exactly how you feel. I've been there with the anxiety, social anxiety, and depression. So you're not alone.

I think that breathing exercises can be particularly helpful when feeling anxious in crowded places. Mindfulness and meditation practices can also be beneficial.

I've also heard from many people that working out daily or going to the gym  really helped them manage their anxiety. And alot of therapists say exercise is great for depression. I'm not sure if it's the same for social anxiety, but I think it could help. Maybe it's like practice for being around people

If therapy isn't an option right now, I suggest reading some books on cognitive-behavioral therapy. They might give you some good tips on breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, and how to change your thinking patterns. That might help you manage your anxiety.
