Job stress and anxiety

unicornbarb October 30th

I have a part time job I like but there have been some big changes in the company causing me anxiety.

I am a field rep for a 3rd party vendor going to various retail store doing projects for different products.   I can make my own schedule and flexible hours.  But now I'm being told I no longer have my local territory and will just be filling in for reps that are sick or on vacation and such.  This just blindsided me.  I have work scheduled through next week but that's it.  I really don't want to find a different job in this field.  I'm having major anxiety.

@unicornbarb

It is hard when any change at work to not have anxiety and when it is up in the air as to fill in last minute it takes away your flexibility etc.... I do not think many of us like looking for something else when it was a good fit to us.

Perhaps try it out and then decide IF this will work out ........if not and no longer worth it to maybe go farther away stores  etc. Keeping an open mind helps with anxiety and you can explore what is your next thing when you want to then when you do it when anxious or panicked.

I am planning on trying it out for a couple weeks I'd rather not drive further once the snow flies. I'm in Northern Wisconsin. The highways get bad.

Thanks for the advice
