Misconceptions
A little while ago, I saw a *** that really altered how I saw ADHD and myself. In the video, a man was talking about ADHD and how those who have it need to accept that they will never be able to build long-term habits, and that attempting it is a lost cause. This really stuck with me, and caused me to feel like I would never seem to get better and would always fail at establishing healthy routines in my life.
But IT’S NOT TRUE.
Don’t be controlled by someone else’s view of your condition. They don’t know you. They (most people online) are not true experts of your condition.
Even with ADHD, you can build toward whoever you want to be. It might not be easy, it shouldn’t be easy (we’re reprogramming!), but it is possible!
you got this!!!

Thta is often the problem with videos and advice they take like everyone is the same .... with or without a diagnosis we all have to find what works for us and the life we build or how we accomplish things may differ from others.
this was a good reminder because i feel far too many limit themselves when they see something like you described and believe they CAN"T
