Officially diagnosed at 35.

So today I had an appointment with my psychiatrist to do an evaluation for ADHD. I was hecka nervous, but it went well. Thank goodness I didn't have to talk to a stranger. Lol. Anyway, I have recently, within the lay few months, done a lot of research after talking to a friend about it. And so much of my life just started to make sense. So here I am, 35 years old, and officially diagnosed with ADHD. My psychiatrist suggested that I try Strattera to see how that works for me. Once it's approved by my insurance and filled by my pharmacy, then the journey begins. Wish me luck.

@QueenofDistraction, I am wishing you strength and comfort! A diagnosis sometimes isn't a bad thing as it allows us to see why the things happen the way they do. When I got diagnosed with ADHD it made more sense as to why I was always hyper as a kid. From there we could address all the areas I needed to.

All the best things start by seeking support. Thank you for sharing this is inspiring.

So much of your life starting to making sense - man I totally agree. Seeing everything through the ADHD lens has opened my eyes too.
Welcome to the family!!
