I have ADHD and I currently take the medication Vyvanse. It helps to soothe the hyperactivefeeling of ADHD and also helps in areas like attention span and ability to focus on subjects. I'm not saying it's the best but it certainly helps me.
Hey I'm on vyvanse as well and I really really like it. So far I haven't had any side effects or bad come downs at all!
It all depends on how you react to the medications. I am on Vyvanse and an afternoon dose ofAdderall. I find that it is very helpful for me. There are other stimulants, like Ritalin, and there are nonstimulants that can also work, like Welbutrin. Just keep in mind that it is all about finding what works for you.
It depends on how severe the diagnoses of ADHD is... Adderral worked for me when i was younger, but it also had side effects since it is a stimulant. Stimulant drugs tend to have side effects like the loss of appetite, nausea, and can even make someone feel lethargic.

@Brownieyes I am using concerta and it has been really helpful. It helps me focus on tasks and feel more calm.
