I had no idea where to create this post, so I'm putting it here, because it does relate to sex and the sexual ideas people have towards other genders.

The word that was used with me today was "dirty"...as in "what is the most dirty text you have sent?"

Now, I assumed that he meant something sexual and not me sending someone a gif of a pig rolling around in mud. So, I asked him why he chose to use the word dirty, and explained that using negative words to describe something natural takes away the natural part of it and makes it bad, or unnatural.

Needless to say it turned into an argument about how the word dirty must have offended me, when all I was trying to express is that sex is not dirty, it's natural, but society has made people become ashamed of one of the most basic needs that we have. Using words like dirty, freak, slut, etc., shames people and the act of sex.

It made me wonder whether or not I come off as a prude, which I'm not, and have often thought I had a sex adddiction. I just don't like the idea of being ashamed of sex, or people shaming you because you enjoy sex.
