I don’t know if you are religious or not, but what I have found to be most helpful in fight my addiction is telling Christ about it, and every time I get an urge for it, I tell him about it and I describe it to him, and the urge diminishes. This helps in the self control area, and building faith in god changes your heart and desires. Talk to god and ask him to change your heart. I hope that this was helpful.
