Hi, my name is Johanna and i m an addict. I ve been sober for 2 years and 8 months. I m working step 6, and I don t have a sponsor anymore. It s hard to do this alone, even thou i know that i m not. Is there anyone I could talk to, long term? The program says that it has to be a female, because my pronome are female. I get the idea, but I really think that i need someone to consult with.
One day at a time has given me the strength to really work the steps.

I have been sober for 3 months but my cravings seem to still be crazy and drive me nuts. I met a wonderful man through a friend in nevada and he paid my way to come see him in Nebraska and I have been with him since and have stayed off the drugs because of him. We are officially engaged now and I'm very happy but I do miss my family and kid.

I'm now 18 days free of benzo's! That's pretty amazing considering there was a time when I thought I couldn't live without them.

It's has been a few months without any big slips from herion. Not the greatest run but still I'm my life it's something to be proud of.

@Madhatter22 It's awesome that you haven't had any major slips! That takes a lot of effort and I think that you definitely deserve to be proud of yourself for that.
I was 4 months clean.. last night i really really messed up. so right now were at about 6 hours clean :(
@katieee1234 *hugs if you are okay with it* Hey Katie, 6 hours is pretty good! Relapse is totally common, and staying clean for 4 months takes tremendous effort and motivation. Kudos to you for that! I know you will do your best to stay clean; we are all here for you! :)
@katieee1234 A good majority of us slip up at some point, you aren't alone in that. At the point of me replying, you have 11 hours again, which is awesome! This isn't the end, every time we slip or relapse, it gives us a chance to grow and learn. We're always here to support you and feel free to PM me any time.
I've been clean for 3 hours. I just took a looong bubble bath.
