Happiness Week Day 3 - Activities to Boost Happiness
hellooo, everyone ! <3 how are you all doing ? i hope you're doing great :) welcome to march 23rd, the third day to our happiness week event ! hooray ! i'm a bit late today, but i've just been very busy this week haha. so bear with me and keep up the awesome participation ! <3
for day 2, we talked about self-care methods in order to boost your happiness :) now, let's get a little more in-depth today with physical activities ! by this, i mean anything that involves any smaller or larger forms of exercise.
here are a few examples ! :
❤️ going for a walk or run, of course
❤️ playing a sport ! (from badminton to football-- it could be anything haha)
❤️ working out !
❤️ dancing <3
❤️ swimming
❤️ biking !
exercise and physical activities have been proven to reduce tension and mental fatigue, give a natural energy boost, help some feel a sense of achievement, increase focus, etc ! they can work wonders, even if you just go for a five minute walk :)

To me though, I'm not very much of a physical activities person because I get physically tired very quickly... However my favorite thing to do when I'm feeling down is to play tennis :) The sport itself makes me very relaxed and happy because it actually reminds me of when I was younger, I'd play with a good friend of mine and we would have a great time together. Therefore I do enjoy tennis nowadays as well even though my friend doesn't play anymore... But I think that sport is a good way to feel positive not only because of the serotonin it provides but also the most important part is just to have fun :) To me it doesn't actually matter how much calories and stuff gets burned... As long as the sport is enjoyable then it's all pretty cool!

I exercise everyday, about 20-30 mins. I’ve been able to make it a habit, and it’s very important especially since we all can get very very busy with our other work (for those that receive no physical activity) 🌻
