Hello, Everyone! Hope you are doing great.

Welcome to the Day 2 of the "Making Peace with Stress" Event.

There are certain common factors that cause stress and circumstances that lead to stressful situations. We can always try to avoid them but most of the time they catch us. It is important to know them so that we can use the practices we learned earlier to handle them in the best possible manner.

Here are some of the stress triggers. (These are written just so that you can identify them.) heart

Emotion- fears and worries

Family- relationships and financial problems

Social- other people and situations

Change- any important changes in life

Work- the pressure of performing in the workplace

Decision- making important decisions, such as the choice of a career

Phobic- situations you are extremely afraid of

Physical- sleep deprivation, lack of healthy food, or being on your feet all-day

Disease- long and short-term health problems

Pain- this can include acute pain or chronic pain

Environmental- noise, pollution, a lack of space, too much heat, or too much cold

"The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another."

Thanks for sharing this list. For me a lot of my stressors tie to fears and worries, which is a very strong emotion.

@VerseArt

Thank you so much for this post, Verse!

I can definitely identify some of the stressors from this list. They are - emotional: fear and worries, social: some relationship arguments, decision: making some important decisions for college, physical: sleep deprivation; I haven't been sleeping well for a while now. I realize that some of the answers that I am seeking will come with time and once I understand that I have the power to make a decision that would be the best for me.

I am wishing everyone who is currently stressing over some things can find some peace and feel better! ^^

You're very welcome! @lumieremilkyway heart

The first step to reducing stress is identifying our stressors and you have done that very well. It is very important to acknowledge them in order to both relieve the stress and sleep well.

I hope you feel better soon and manage your sleep schedule. Have a great day ahead!
