Things I Wish I

Today, I found out that in November, it would be my four year anniversary of the lowest point in my life. Im not quite recovered just yet, but Im so much better, and I realised some things that I wish Id known years ago.

- Make decisions based on who you want to be, not who you are.

- Things happen and people will come and go. Donf focus on the bad things, and instead embrace the things new people can bring to your life.

- If they dont like you for who you are, dont change yourself to fit who they want you to be. They arent the person for you. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and some people will be unfortunate enough not to be able to see yours.

- Never settle for anything less than what youre worth. Youre so much better than you think.

- Love yourself like you want someone to love you.

- Always put yourself first. Others will follow.

- Dont let anxiety dictate your life. You have the power to control the world around you. Be brave enough to do it.
