Hungry and Angry?
Does this sound familiar? Is your mood changing when you are hungry, do you become less patient, snap at others more easily, get a headache and can’t focus?
The brain needs fuel to regulate emotions and a sudden drop of glucose can impact our mood negatively if it goes for a prolonged time.
This is about physical hunger, so it means when you truly need to eat, when your body needs nutrition and not about psychological hunger when cravings occur due to stressors.
Some people are very sensitive to the highs and lows from sugar despite not being hypoglycemic so keeping stable the blood sugar level can help to avoid any drastic mood changes.
Our emotions are tied to our physical well-being, so when you notice that you’re getting hungry, it can help to get a glass of water and something healthy to eat.

Thirst and dehydration are also doing this thing.
Unfortunately so we witness our planet turning to desert with water gone and famine spreading. So horrifying! 😭

I still do hope that we can stop the current development by mindfully dealing with the treasures of our planet. Something I decided long time ago is catching rain water and any water in the household that can be resused for the garden since I'm living in a water scarce country.

Hugs. I'm very sorry that you feel hopeless. Hearing all the bad news these days can make you feel hopeless and for some also helpless, for this reason I limited the amount of news I take in every day. When you feel hopeless, it can be very hard to believe that things can get better. The voice in our heads will tell us that there is no way out but it’s important to remember that things can change. What are things which made you feel being empowered before?

@amiablePeace77 When I feel hungry, sometimes I get hangry! 😡 I do understand the blood sugar thing though because I can get really dizzy if I don't eat something for a while and it's not fun! My favorite snack to eat is fruit or a granola bar or protein shake!

Good that you know the warning signs and what you need to find balance again. Fruit, a granola bar or protein shake sound like good options and give you fiber too!
