I once went trick-or-treating with my sister and friends when I was little. After a while, we met a random dad and his daughter and he asked if she could come along with us. We said yes and had the best time. We are still friends to this day :)
When I was about 5 or 6 the neighborhood where I lived had a Halloween parade for the kids on Halloween in the afternoon where we all walked around the block in our costumes. People stood and clapped for us at the end of their driveway. Then there were cupcakes when we finished.
