Insomnia

cyanCherry8128 October 27th, 2022

Hey,

shortly before I turned 50 I started having terrible insomnia. In the evening I can’t stay awake which is socially disruptive and then I will wake up around midnight and not really be able to get back to sleep. Next day, repeat. It has been many months now. Anyone else deal with this and what do you do?

@cyanCherry8128 Sleep disorders can be quite challenging and affect the mood and everyday activities. Personally I have been dealing with insomnia for a long time. It has been terrible as I was sleeping at the wrong times and found it very challenging to switch to the right time again. I tried some supplements such as melatonin, valerian and tea with a mix of lavender and chamomille. Since then I finally managed to fix my sleep. However if there are psychological reasons behind it, it would worth the time to talk about it with a therapist. We are all here for you. Thank you for sharing!
