Newbie; Depression and Anxiety: Dorothy
I am a 60 year old mother of three young men- all living on their own. I’ve unfortunately had a dysfunctional traumatic childhood and suffer from anxiety and depression. Lately its more situationally events: my eldest son is a heroin addict , my best friend moved two week’s ago. My youngest moved out west for college and i recently found out a dear friend has brain cancer that spread. On top of that a guy i met on Match whom I have been dating for 6 months was cheating on me with men and women. Understandably i am under a lot of stress with depression and anxiety

Hi Dorthey, Sounds difficult. So sorry to hear you are dealing with all that. Just wondering what you might be doing to cope? I too suffer from anxiety and depression. I usually hide it well, but it's getting the best of me. Starting a new medication today. Take good care of yourself.
That’s really a tough situation which makes it almosg impossible to see a bright side, but I want to tell you that it’s going to be alright eventually. You just do well to express yourself more, talking about it makes if easier
