Hi. I'm a 52 yo divorced woman and sort of remarried mother of 2. I completely trashed my life so hard at age 45. Seriously. I got divorced, left everything I had and moved to the middle east. I'm not sure it's possible to fail harder. I didnt join ISIS or anything, I moved to Turkey to study art. It didnt work out like I thought.
Anyway, I'm back in the US and after some really questionable decisions and choices I'm trying to get my head together.
I have abuse and trauma issues along with ptsd, depression, anxiety, and adhd. On top of that my husband has DID so life gets pretty complicated.

Hello, Drum8823, Nice to meet you and so glad you found us here at 7cups. I am scarletPear1945. After reading your post, You have had some very hard life decisions you have had to make. I am sorry the art project did not work out but nevertheless, I am glad you came back to the USA. Life can be so difficult at times.You have a plate full and I know that has to be hard. You helping your husband with DID along with your own struggles.

That’s really a tough situation which makes it almost impossible to look on the bright side, but I want to tell you that it’s going to be alright eventually. You just do well to express yourself more, talking about it makes if easier
