@adventurousBranch3786 Happy Mother's Day. Moether's are special, not perfect but very kind and caring in a unique way. Hope everyone appreciates that.
Where I live May is not for mothers. It is for racing. INtucky Derby hoppity horse races, Kentucky Derby real horse races, Little 500 bicycle race, MiniMarathon foot race, Indy 500 qualifications and race, and Mother's Day is kids 500 day. However, at my house, we will spend time together, wherever that may be, on whatever activity, and nothing is better than time spent with loved ones. I hope you will have a wonderful day filled with joy.
My mother passed away on Friday before Mother's Day in 1998. Haven't really celebrated the day much since.

I'm going to do something totally different this year for mother's day. I've never been a big celebrator of this holiday, so it's fun to re-create it for myself.
I have a fellow woman friend (we're both mothers, so that counts for mother's day) that I enjoy talking with and we are going to do a special mother's day lunch together. I can't wait!

I’ve been trying to remember a Mother’s Day memory for this post today but was unable to. Maybe because I didn’t have much time with her.
As for special plans my partner is taking me for a special meal today. I don’t have any children. But he says he considers me a mother anyway because I took care of so many stray kittens😊!

I was imagining all the care and kindness she did when I was a child so I could grow up to be an adult. All the "little" things that helped me when I was totally helpless. I feel a sense of deep gratitude thinking of all she did for me without making a lot of noise about it. I guess that is how my mother was, she just did it.

I am a momma to a special needs son with autism and I would not change a single solitary thing! Jack has taught me so much about the world 🌎 and how he views it.
He is high functioning with a 99% average and accepted into engineering faculty next fall. His calculus teacher says he shows him regularly how to teach it in an easier fashion … his brain is brilliant! I am blessed truly 💙.
His prom was yesterday and his friends are beyond amazing so proud of him … the memories in the past, his dreams in his future, the love all around him and he has all he needs in himself to succeed. 🎓💙🎓💙🎓💙
