I'm not sure where to express and I don't mean to sound harsh, BUT If you're a listener PLEASE do not call people dear or any other pet name . I've been called dear SO many times and I really don't like it. I'm an adult and I don't need strangers calling me pet names or any endearing names.

@amusingWest5360 at my old job, were actually trained to never use these types of words, for this exact reason

Even when it isn't our intention, words like dear or sweetheart can sound condescending to strangers

It's sounds like another way of telling someone to calm down, I've never seen that to well😬
