Hello
Do you guys have any tips on how I could not feel sad because my friend moved a few days ago and I feel like I am nothing without her and I feel miserable without her. Do you guys also have some tips on how I can not have so much anxiety because I’ve been experiencing it for about 4-6 months.
Hello @compassionateScarf6890, welcome to the community, nice to meet you and glad that you're reaching out for support. ❤️
I'd like to assure you that it is absolutely okay to feel sad and even miserable without your friend, you're allowed to feel sad and miss your friend when they aren't around as often anymore. Separation from friends is quite hurtful and you're more than allowed to take all the time you need to feel the sadness and grow around adjusting with the change. Having been in your place before, I know it is so awful to imagine a life without someone who was earlier a huuuge part of our lives, but hey, all I can assure you is that, distance is fine too, so long people want to stay connected, they can, great how we have such technology too nowadays to keep in touch somehow -- I understand it won't feel the same but it is something for sure and we can certainly adjust around it over time, definitely gets easier with time. ❤️
Anxiety can be so challenging to go through, is there something in particular that makes you feel anxious? Perhaps some people, some situations, some "conversations"/ topics, certain stressors that trigger your anxiety? It may help to create your own "safety kit" against any of these stressors that make you feel anxious.
What usually helps you feel calmer? ❤️
