Anxious

versatileKitten007 August 8th, 2022

I get anxious and have panic attacks when I’m home alone. I hate being alone but I have to be home alone a few days a week. I especially get very anxious and start to panic when I have to take my medication and I am home alone. This happens once per day and the only thing that calms me down so I can take it without panic is calling and talking to my brother or a friend, but it is hard to get ahold of them because they have to work or have other obligations. I have a very small group of friends and I don’t know anyone here as I just moved here. I also am a huge introvert and don’t like going out. I really would like someone I can just talk to during the day who will understand and be compassionate about my anxiety. Someone I can text who will be there anytime (within reason I understand people have lives) and who I can reach out to, even call for 20 or 30 minutes if I need to hear a voice when it’s time for my medicine. I guess I’m just looking for a friend and a support to help me get through this rough patch I’m going through. I’m scared and hate feeling so alone and anxious when I’m home on my own all day.
