And here we are

It occurred to me that I have few friends and possibly only 1 close friend. It also occurs to me that this is a choice I make. I’m not necessarily uncomfortable with choosing those close to me very carefully, but I do wish I had a few friends to go to lunch with or get a pedicure, or just walk shops…. It is hard to make friends when you have boundaries that are healthy and not destructive. When I wasn’t healthy and very destructive I had All Kinds of friends! 😅 just irony, but that’s the reality I’ve lived for long enough to be lonely, not desperate, but definitely lonely.
