Anxiety over own birthday

I think many experience this .....they would like the day to be good and special ...

yet know it will not be ....

i just went through this again this year. last year was all done by a friend and was good......... but looking back most years are exactly the same a few texts ... maybe a FB post

but those supposedly close to me ... but they simply want me to tell them everything to do ... cake? dinner out? if i want anything it is like go buy yourself something i will pay u back ....... I have hated my bday for years ....... stress it coming up then ticked off after because yet again it was a bust UNLESS i entertain myself.
