Dealing with Chronic Pain & Depression

Overview

Chronic pain negatively impacts the lives of millions of people. In addition to physical discomfort, many people who have chronic pain give up favorite activities, decline social outings, and lose friendships as a result of their pain-induced limitations. There is hope, however, to reclaim your life and alleviate some of the suffering you may be experiencing. This course is designed to provide you with learning opportunities related to self-managing chronic pain with the goal being to decrease your experience of suffering and improve your quality of life. There are 6 lessons within this course that have been adapted primarily from Turk and Winter (2006) for helping you deal with chronic pain.

When to Seek Professional Help for Chronic Pain
