This week's forum post is about judgement and beliefs in Mindfulness. Judgment is defined as the act or instance of judging. The ability to judge, make your own decision and form of an opinion objectively. A belief is defined as to have trust, faith and confidence in someone. We as humans are active thinkers constantly thinking about things everyday. It is like the expression " MY mind is all over the place" is because we are not just thinking of one thing, Our minds may have several things floating around. When someone in our life does wrong by us there are many things we begin to think about "why they did or said something" " Why did they have to hurt me" "what did I do wrong for them to be rude or disrespectful to me". This is known as over thinking because we begin to have things floating around our mind of what happened. ...See more Hello, I just wanted to post a little bit of art I decided to redraw when I drew this character from a very obscure game (only a few people know it) called Genshin Impact, I dug through a lot of old art, some good and some embarrassing. Life has been interesting so far. Currently, I'm dealing with a feeling of demotivation. I find it very easy for me to get distracted and very easily dissuaded from doing tasks I should do, which is weird since I don't mind staying up to draw but when it comes to watching a lecture I instantly give up. Let's see currently life is progressing slowly, I'm studying at university right now (and I have a lot I can say about my academics but that's for another vent/post) and I'm in the middle of my exam period right now. I've been spending time with friends doing the usual playing badminton, and hanging out and I got my hands on some horror games cause a few were on sale. I've begun being a bit more open to strangers I'm planning to meet someone to study together with. I don't particularly stand out or have hobbies as cool as theirs so I am worried about being boring to them, but I'd rather embarrass myself than miss out on making another possible friend. I also decided to try and look for a local gym and arrange a friend to go with. My finances aren't great however I've been looking for work to pick up hopefully after the exams are over or maybe making money elsewhere. It's odd in my opinion, I go to school to get a job in the future but I never really had a job or had any desire to make money, (my parents lived frugally and I barely asked for anything if they offered money I generally refused to take it, very stubborn about using the same 10-year-old phone despite the battery being bricked) it may make me come off as spoilt but in general, I never really had something I wanted or any desire for money. Maybe that's a sign of my lack of future planning, but I don't know maybe there's a term for that (maybe complacent, but I'm not happy about my current situation either). I don't have much to say except life is still moving ahead and that dreaded sun in the sky is still rising (it's really hot and humid right now, ironic since my name is-) hopefully everyone has nicer weather and I'll post later again when I'm not sweating a lake. -SunnyLake

You ask me to stay away, to forget you entirely, But how can I erase the dreams we shared together? You say that fear grips your heart, I say we'll fight this battle as one. Why fight alone for your freedom? Didn't I promise to walk beside you till the end? Is love such a grave sin? Is choosing our own path such a crime? Your God gave you this life to live, Why surrender it to others' design? You ask for time, and I give you Not moments, but a lifetime true. Just don't ask me to forget you, For you're like a verse in my book of life, That feels new every time I read through. People tell me to be practical, To accept that if not you, someone else will do. But how do I make them understand That you're not a choice I made, You're a part of my existence so deep, A story left incomplete I cannot keep. I hold no grudge against your family, I only have this humble plea: Give you time, listen to your voice, Find their joy in your happiness freely. You say my hopes are breaking you down, But how can I leave you alone in this fight? My silence holds my restlessness, Your silence holds your helplessness. The tears that fill your eyes today, Flow from mine just the same way. You ask me to forget and move on, But how can I forget dreams that we dwelt upon? What did our elders learn from their youth, When their voices too were stifled and mute? Are they now taking revenge, perhaps, By passing trauma down this twisted route? I think of your daughters tomorrow, Will they find their voice to speak? Or will they inherit this same silence, When they try to choose their path unique? Will their rational pleas be heard Or will they too be told to stay meek? You'll fight your battle alone, you say, I'll stay away as you asked, okay. But remember, I'm here somewhere near, Ready for your call, should you ever need. I only ask this much of you: Don't let your voice fade away. For hidden in your silence deep, Lies the story of my heartache's keep.
