...See more My Manager gave me rise...and started breaking down. He was a toxic absent Manager before anyway, you could never count on him regarding motivation because he had pupils and ignored anyone else. I was well respected by the rest of my team for taking the hardest tasks others wanted to avoid and helping customers with the most advanced and non-common technical problems. But I also try to be a easy-going laughing happy person, stubborn and bold, because that is the exact opposite of what my social anxiety would want from me. And my Manager was pretty antisocial, not wanting to relate to me or get any remotely close because he expected he would need to fire me someday so why not be a prick from the start? Yeah well, he was saying things about the honesty and being myself, but then was reserved and closed so I followed his example regarding contacts with him, but not with the rest of the team. And that was annoying him. If other people joked - it was ok - If I joked he was mumbling being unhappy about it and a the end he was actually throwing tantrums about having to hear my voice talking about tickets. Other people did not have such problems with him, so when I came to him and asked what is wrong and if he could stop criticizing me in front of everyone because I am getting mentally hurt by his actions as I have social anxiety... He threw me in the face that I am the only one with such problems so it is a problem with me and not with him. And that was just the start of hurtful things he said, but you get the idea? The guy is so obsessed with controlling anything around im that his stress levels make him passive-aggressive and he starts breaking down...and bothering the person with social anxiety, just because he gave her a rise around the time there were mass firings in the organization. And he could not contain the urge of controlling the person afterward as if that could help him with his stick in the ass and lack of normal ways to vent out his stress. He even intimidated me to silence me and went behind my backs to organize an earlier release from job position. Shame I lost job thanks to him. But I also reported him to the organization as we had strict diversity and anty-bulling rules. And now I am wondering how hard I should be on him on the call with the HR. Best, Willow
