Foodrelated travel tips and tricks!

...See more Hi everyone! Before my illness affected my daily life and diet to the extent it does nowadays, I used to travel quite a lot. However, since my symptoms worsened over a year ago, I find even over-the-day trips to nearby cities nearly impossible because of my struggles with food, and specifically finding places where I can actually get something to eat. Thing is, I really really miss travelling and being able to even take shorter trips, and would love to be able to do so despite my illness. So, I'm wondering if any of you have similair struggles and how you deal with them when travelling? Do you have any tips and tricks that make travelling possible despite a very restricted diet? :) Hope you all are doing well this Tuesday! :D
Tips for dealing with unwanted weight loss?

...See more Hi everyone! Just wanted to ask if any of you, like me, have had to deal with unwanted weight loss due to your illness(es)? Over the last seven months I've lost a significant amount of weight, and I think I still am losing some. It can really bring me down sometimes as I actually don't want to lose weight, and especially not more than I already have. I haven't had the time to adjust to my new body because the changes have happened to rapidly, and I find self-love really difficult in most aspects right now. But the toughest thing is hearing comments from people around me, because often weight loss is percieved as something positive, and not something someone can be unhappy with, as I am. :/ One of my friends at one point actually said that she wished she had my illness just so she could lose as much weight as I have. Eventhough I know she didn't mean it in a negative or insulting way, that comment still hurt, because, well, losing weight due to illness and not because you actually want to, is not fun. And my illness in general isn't exactly amazing either, nor is it a desirable weight-loss method. I've also gotten comments from people corncerned I'm "fading away" or becoming too tiny, and these can also be difficult to hear sometimes. Especially as I have no control over my weight at the moment. I was just wondering if any of you have been in similair situations, and if so; how have you dealt with it? How have you reconnected with your bodies, and how have you dealt with unwanted comments?
Gallbladder/bile-duct illnesses and food

...See more If any of you, like me, has an illness or a syndrome that affects your gallbladder and/or bileducts... I want to know if you're also affected by what you eat or drink! I've had to readjust my entire diet this year because of my illness, and I find it really difficult to eat with others now (as I can hardly eat any fat, and can't eat so much other stuff like onions, raw vegetables, fried things, full-fat products, nuts, meat.. the list goes on), and I was wondering if any of you out there have the same issues, and how you deal with it! Do you have any nice recepies you can recommend? Any go-to restaurants and such? Do you still eat out, and if so, how do you prepare yourselves? :) Hope you all have a brilliant start to your week!! <3
