...See more Hiya everyone, I hope this new month brings each one of us lots of peace and joy!💖 Okie I'll try not to blabber too much and come straight to the point! xD  Soooo, we know that when we sign up on 7 cups, we are assigned an auto-generated username because anonymity first hehe.  And of course, we can change our username from our settings page, for upto first 2 weeks and then after filling a form and providing a valid reason. Which is how there's so many people here who have come up with almost random looking words from the English language, that when put together bring us a spectacular "username", which is often synonymous to their personality, and of course, a major part of our identity here at 7 cups.  Purely an observation, and of course, it could've been deeply impacted by the "roles" each account plays here, "listeners" on here to listen to people, support and be an encouraging presence reigniting hope for those that need it, have a more "upbeat" sorta username, usually. (Usually being the keyword) On the other hand, I notice some "member" account usernames that aren't as "upbeat" sounding, which also makes complete sense because on our member account, we are likely more vulnerable and embracing of the not-so-happy-and-okay-us too. (Again, usually being the keyword, and a personal observation entirely) Indeed, there's extremes but then there's also a broad spectrum, and we are all spread out on it embracing our unique-ness and authenticity, describing it as how we see it and are comfortable with. 🌞 I love coming across different usernames that attempt to personate the person behind the screen in one or more ways, whatever way it speaks to *them*. To each their own, always! However, yes it makes me wonder how our usernames shape up our identity here, how we see ourselves and also for others and how we'd like them to see us too. A username speaks a lot about the person, I feel, the more-thought-out ones, specially. Ones with some context and with a backstory! (I tried xD but fortunately, I am me and I'll complete the entire story even after saying "long story short"~ ooh and sometimes even with sub-plots and individual character-development arcs 🤣) Alrighty, now some questions to get your brain-juices flowing-  🌞 What does your username mean? Is there a backstory, you'd like to share? 🌞 If you had an alternate username or could change your username to something else more inclined towards the *current you*, what would you keep it as? Why? 🌞 What's the most captivating username you've come across here? (Yes please, you can tag them by putting an "@" sign before their name) What do you like about it? 🌞 A Gift for youuu: Tag 3 of your peers here and share an alternate username for them, that you feel fits them most. (Needless to say, but we practice extra caution lol, sooo, ~ Appropriate Language Only, *please*) Brownie points if you can be a little descriptive and share "why" do you feel it fits them. ...See more Hiya delightful tv and movies community, how are we doing today?💛 I recently finished watching this show called Bridgerton on Netflix, after finally giving into all the hype about it hehe.  Still trying to fully formulate an opinion if I actually like-like it or not, so would like to hear from others as well.  For the most part, I think the show is great, and the hype is somewhere deserved hehe, but it was a slow-to grow on me kinda show for me, the first few episodes of every season, at least.😅 👑 If you've watched it already, how did you like it, overall? 👑 Out of the three seasons/ stories, which one stood out more for you? Because? 👑 Favorite character(s)? Because?  👑 Do you have any alternate endings or storylines in mind about it? (For instance, I would've really liked seeing Eloise's character being given more arc and space through the show)

...See more Hey hey everyone coming across, how are y'all doing today?🧡 I planned on making this post on September 1st, but am a few hours late (yay procrastination 🥲) but hey, not too late xD so this counts.👀 Okay seriously, is anyone able to believe we are almost 75% done with this year already?!🤯 Time always seems to be flying, and gosh, so difficult to make sense of, at times. (Please tell I'm not alone in this lol) But okie yes, gonna try that delulu (yusss, I used a GenZ slang 'cause it's fun😂) approach and pretend that we acknowledge the time passing, and that it is September already, and we are entering the last quarter of 2024, and it's gonna be okayyy. 💛 A lot can happen over a few minutes, to be honest, a few seconds even, like you've watched the Olympics recently? A few seconds make so much of a difference. So on the brighter side, we still got 4 whole months to ourselves and there's still sooooo much more we can feel, do, experience and live.❤ Now now, reflection time for all- (you can answer any and all)  🍁 How has 2024 been so far for you? You deserve the love and kindness you give out so here's your turn to recieve your special parcel of gratitude!🫶 I loooove seeing your username pop up on my dash, most times it's a super cool ice breaker, or a pen pal thread to initiate conversations and friendships with your peers, other times it's a thoughtful gesture of you pulling people together to share some love and appreciation for your peer(s), there's times when the threads are more personal where you are more vulnerable, more expressive, embracing the not-so-happy times, experiences and emotions.  ♡ For all the fun icebreakers- Thank you for trying to keep the community forums up and running, with all the fun and engaging posts, allowing people to participate and get to know each other more.  ♡ For all the pen pal threads- I think it's quite amazing how you take out time to let people know they left some impact on you and you'd want to get to know them better, perhaps even build a friendship and mutually supportive rapport.  ♡ For all the "send some love to..." threads- These are my favorite from you, for taking out the time to spotlight your peers and remind them how even strangers can come together to make them feel loved and appreciated for who they are. It's the super simple, teeny things that make the most magnificent kinda difference to one's day, and eventually, to their life. So thank *you* for not hesitating to love and love strong on your peers here!  ♡ For the honest, vulnerable, expressive threads- These, I find the most inspiring and beautiful. Not in a "hey you're not happy, that's so beautiful" way lol, but in a "oh wow so this person who is always around making people feel happy, seen and appreciated, who makes fun content and is always around engaging within the community, has her moments too and is brave enough to acknowledge the not-happy moments and talk about them too" way. It's beautiful, and beautiful beyond words, to be so raw and authentic in your hooman-experiences, that serve a loud reminder of how not all smiley faces are always happy, and how some not-happy people can still go out of their way to make others feel better, anyway. I am not exaggerating a bit here. you make sure to reply to every text a person sends you and you don't miss out anything! like you genuinely want to talk to the person and trust me, a lot of people are not like that. you make me feel heard and understood every damn time. you check in with me too, you make sure I am doing okay and if you haven't seen me in a while, you ask if there's something I want to talk about. how can a person be this caring? only I know because I have had the pleasure to connect with you! you have an amazing taste in music, you are kind to every single person, you can understand what the other person is going through and you are you, Sun. I like every single thing that makes you, you and I know I have to get to know you first but I am looking forward to it!
