How do you imagine your depression?

...See more I'm just curious. But I imagine mine like staring at a ravine. I'm standing on the edge of a cliff and just looking down into the blackness. Sometimes I just stare down into it, and other times I feel like jumping in just to escape reality. So how do you imagine yours?

...See more Not really much on my mind right now in terms of trauma, I just thought it would be good to have a place where I could sort out my thoughts and really think about what I'm thinking... if that makes sense. I hope this helps me because I have realized that I have alot of "tangled" up thoughts. All of my negative feelings about multiple different things seem to melt together into one big ball of string. And right now, I'm ranting about how I can never collect my thoughts. So, it's already working, sort've. Processing. That's whats working. So, here we go.

...See more My adoptive mother always said that she was the only one in the family who wanted me. She said everybody thought it was a waste of time to go all the way to China just to get a daughter. But she did. She came to China and picked out me. A child with an illness that she could cure in the States. But what was her reason for doing all of this? She wanted everybody to say how much of a good person and mother she was. Unfortunately, a 3 old from China wasn't going to come to a completely new country to live without it's difficulty's. But who wouldn't. It turns out, she didn't even want me here either. She has made sure I know that everyday since then. My only security against her is the restraining order, but she still comes to bite me.
