Hello! How wonderful that we meet here on 7 Cups of Tea. This is a serene place to talk - that's why I chose this name. I have been a teacher for many years and was a professor before my retirement at 67 years young. I have training in listening and have certainly listened and advised folks of all ages. I have found that each of us has profound wisdom within us - even though we may lose track of it for a time. We are on this Earth for form a loving community of human beings. Let's chat.

SereneHoliday36 was the first person I have talked to on this site. Honestly, I don't think I could've been luckier to get her. She was very helpful and kind, and her optimistic outlook felt very genuine and turned out to be slightly contagious. Tonight is the best I've felt in months. This first converaation has opened an outlet which i can reach into to affirm that i'm not alone. I think the best thing was how non judgemental she was. Annonymity helped me open up, and she never once made me feel ashamed or embarassed about what I'm going through or my inability to clearly describe how I felt at times.
