...See more Been a long-time animanga fan and it's only been in the last year that I've gotten into iyashikei genre anime healing Iyashikei is Japanese for "healing", a term originally used for anime and manga which created with the specific purpose of healing or soothing the audience. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iyashikei Anyway, kinda vibing with Studio Ghibli where there is conflict but it doesn't take up most of the story.  Rather it's there as something to remind the viewer that there is a struggle and it can be overcome.
