Social Anxiety and Group Support Chat
Anxiety Support / by quietThomas
Last post

...See more Does anyone else experience social anxiety at the thought of participating in Group Support Chat? In my case, the SA (that everyone's going to think, "Oh no! Here comes Stupid!") is compounded by the fear that I'll stupidly say something that makes another member of the chat feel worse than they already do. And, from what I've seen, a lot of people in those chats are really hurting, which makes me cringe at the thought of causing more hurt. On the other hand, maybe I just worry too much and overthink everything. Actually, I know I do, but that doesn't mean my concerns are totally invalid. Does anyone else identify with any of this?

Chat Room Technical Issue
Site Updates / by quietThomas

...See more I'm not sure if this is the right place to address this issue and I've already sent in a support ticket about it but has anyone noticed that the text window in the chat support rooms is extremely narrow top to bottom? Maybe it's just my computer, but I find that when people post in the room, the text flys by so fast that I have to scroll up to see what I missed. Also, this is like swimming against the current as the text keeps going up as more people post so that it's almost impossible to follow the discussion. I would like to know if there is a way to enlarge the chat window so that more of the text is visible at one time. Or is this a change that the website designers would need to implement? Thanks for any enlightenment on this issue.
