I am a 38 yr old man that has spent his life hiding his depression and his lack of happiness by trying to make others happy. Which ended with me trying to take my life 3 times in 24 hrs.

...See more Hi, I'm a 38 yr old male that has never really dealt with my depression. I have always been able to "shut it off" until I couldn't anymore. I'm 9 days out from the last time I almost went through with ending it. This time I was stopped by a complete stranger that has no clue he saved my life. That being said I'm not sure if I'm thankful he was there or angry that I'm still having to fight everyday to make it to the next day. If you met me you would think I'm so happy and positive, always trying to do for others but don't know what to do to help myself.
