...See more I look at the places I've gone past, and paths I've taken, and realize that I've never truly lived. As I stroll down the busy streets of my mind, filled with new buildings and neon signs, I think of all I've been through, and all I have yet to go through. I feel calm knowing that conflict helps me grow, it's turned me into who I am. I once again walk through the same paths, with a sound mind and no regrets. I've learned to cherish those little moments, the ones we so often take for granted. The ones where we are our happiest, and the photos we take are candid.

...See more Same path, different destinations. Vacancy, crying, hating all creation. But one, leads to mental destruction. The other, to positive personal reflection. One focuses on strife, the other on the changes they made to your life. All the ways that they bettered you, and you realize that you're really a better you. You find it was worth the cost, worth it to have loved and lost.

...See more I always thought of you as cold-blooded, but you showed me your golden warmth.  I felt it was sweet, so I said it. You told me I was being too sensitive. You could at times be rugged, but I kept going forth.  I said I cared for you, I meant it, but you thought of me as demented.  You had to go and correct me, like you always do. I could never be my true self while talking to you. Maybe I could share my likes and dislikes, but they'd have to be your taste. Otherwise, I know there'd be a judgmental look on your face.
