...See more Hi there I am new to 7cups but so glad to have come here, I am 30 plus in a relationship which seemed to have gone downhill real bad.. and during this period I met my friend (someone I dated 19 years ago) .. he seemed to be so caring and genuine.. that I really thought he cared for me in true sense however later I got to know he was seeing someone else and never cared to mention all that whilst proclaiming his love for me .. everything felt so painful, I love my partner and felt so horrible for believing that ‘fake’ friend & thinking he really was a well wisher … i don’t know how to get over this pain …it feels like betrayal .. I blocked him however I feel like I needed some closure … it just feels really painful …

...See more I have always struggled with setting boundaries and when I take a stand I feel so guilty for doing it .. it’s seriously affecting my self esteem - does anyone else also feel the same ?
