Poem: Yearning for Authenticity - Betrayed by Lust's Embrace
Poetry / by kindEyes9789

...See more I find my voice when I'm at my lowest. Poetry of pain, agony, and decision. When caught up in a web of desires, Currently plagued by passion-inspired doubts. Although I worry that it was fueled by lust's reflection, We danced in the flames of a short connection. He left me with wounds I can't ignore As I yearned for companionship and something more. Was our relationship only an illusion, A false embrace, fueled by his lust and the pursuit of his desires? The awful reality that perhaps I was merely considered as a conquest, And unrefined tears my heart. A false embrace, fueled by his lust. My spirit weeps at this bitter awareness, But he carelessly consumed my affection. Oh, the torture of doubt, the searing dread, If friendship was only a show, a pervasive fiction. Was my value diminished to serve as a receptacle, For yearning when the need for company grew stale? I long for the comfort of a true friend, Yet it seems that my hopes have been dashed. His goals were hidden by the passion haze, My heart dissolved to dust, leaving me wounded. I'll find my way through this desolate pain, Reclaiming my value, and putting my strength on display. I want a true, sincere friendship, Because I'm more than just a sexual object.
Poem: Words as Relief - Finding Solace in Pre-Menstrual Waves

...See more I delve into the world of conflicting emotions. Where sensitivity grows and I feel alive. Prior to my period, a sensitive period, Emotions rise when feelings become more intense. My head starts spinning, and I feel dizzy. A prompt for the changes I experience, As headaches join in with their constant drumbeat, Humps and pulses steadily, like a thrum. But I did discover something strange. When I discuss my problems, I feel a great sense of relief. The headache goes away. When I relax and allow my thoughts to flow. What, then, does my inner being carry heavily? What worries and secrets do I conceal? Speak them out loud and allow the words to flow. Bring my burdens to the light and share them. Because when I speak, magic happens. Like the breeze on my skin, The anguish fades away. By communicating my anxieties, I receive a calming balm, That connects my heart To the calming peace of the universe. What responsibilities weigh heavily on my mind? What concerns and phobias should I calm down? Speak, allowing my words to flow As I allow my emotions, To shine in comfort, Of your own company. Because I am aware of the ability, Of words to alter, heal, and make pains better, Therefore, pour out my soul, let the stress out, Allow my emotions to come forth like soft rain. May I find comfort in my own embrace? At these times of openness and grace, Guiding myself with self-compassion. While I ride the waves of sensitivity's tide. And when the emotional storms have subsided, And peace has at least descended. I'll keep in mind that I'm never alone And that strength can be shown through introspection.

...See more I've realized in the depths of my heart, That I occasionally allowed other people to hurt me. I extended my unconditional love with open arms. However, agony found a way to get through. I apologize to myself for my tears. For having placed too much trust in others, And for losing my composure. I wanted to spread my pure and radiant love. But some people took advantage. Making the night last forever. Listen, my love, with grace and strength, It's time to go on and find a new home. Forgive yourself because you weren't at fault. All you wanted was to love without fear. Now, stand tall and strong, my dear. The world still needs your love and your act. Learn from the past, but don't let it define you. The love you possess will always shine through. Share your love with those who are willing to receive it. And keep it close at hand. But keep in mind, my dear, That your love is not wasted, The right people will treasure it. And help you through your suffering. I’m sorry for all the pain you have experienced. But it is now time for you to let your love be known. Embrace your value and let your emotions be free Because one day your love will find harmony.

...See more Hey friends! πŸ’¬ Let's share our special ways of talking about our feelings and making our relationships better. Remember, everyone's unique, but feeling comfortable is super important! When I want to talk about my feelings, I start with this special template: "Lately, I feel..." and then I explain why. 🌟 I also share what I think could help or how the other person could help, and I explain how it can make me feel happy. It has made my relationships healthier because we talk things through nicely. But sometimes, if the other person doesn't understand, I ask myself, "Is it okay if we don't agree?" If it's not a big deal, I let it go. If it's quite a big deal, then maybe the person is not the right person for me, and I should let them go. This helps me make space for more positive and healthy connections! 🌈 Let's share our special communication tricks! πŸ—£οΈ How do you talk about your feelings?
