CBT for anxiety

...See more Hey Has anyone found that the suggested treatment for anxiety is CBT. I do actually rate CBT for anxiety however most of it is normal life for me. I've spent my whole life managing anxiety. I'm also very rational and prioritize those anxieties internally. I've been in abusive relationships for most of my life so have never been allowed to be anxious. Externally people think I'm the most outgoing gregarious person. I take more risks than most people would ever imagine. Tolerance of uncertainty isn't an issue I'm cool with that. I'm more scared of the things that have and will happen. I'm out of those relationships now I'm settled and have the most amazing partner who understands me more than I do. He's worried because I'm having anxiety attacks while I'm asleep. He thought they were seizures at first because I will literally stiffen up and he has to really work hard to move me. We don't think they are they happen when I wake up in a panic. I'm just not sure where to go with it. I really don't want to take medication because I've had a bad time with it before

...See more Hey My partner is having a really bad time with depression and anxiety at the minute and had a really bad episode tonight. One of the reasons I love him so much and we work so well is that we understand that side of each other. I am just finding that it has a real toll on my mental health when this happens and I'm a natural masker so just keep going. I don't want to make it all about me when it's him having the crisis but also know I need to be strong to support him. Does anyone have any ideas how to deal with this because at some point something has to break thank you ❤️
