...See more I have a question for anyone studying neuroscience or knows stuff about the brain.  From what I have read on various websites, retrograde amnesia is where a person forgets memories prior to an accident (for example) but is still able to create new memories after the accident. Here's my question: is it possible for a person who suffers from retrograde amnesia to gradually recall bits and pieces of their old memories before the accident? If so, do they come in flashes or dreams, and does it hurt when the memories come back?  Thanks so much! :)
