I have been diagnosed with PTSD, Major Depression, and Disassociation Disorder. They are a part of me, but they don't define me.

I was recently put in a situation where I had to move from my home. I don't have any blood relatives. My best friend from high school let me stay with her, her mother, and her mother's dogs. I am in the middle of nowhere and it is foreign territory to me. They are letting me stay with them for free, out of the kindness of their hearts. While I figure out what my next step is, get myself on medicare, and try and start school.

I live with my cat. My lovely baby of 10 years. She is the love of my life. One of the reasons that keeps me tethered to this planet is my baby. I believe no one can take care of my baby better than me. I work hard so that my baby can have a better life.
