...See more I've had two failed engagements that I eventually terminated because of 70-30 unfairness which left me drained. Both were with regular heteros. I don't feel like I'm expecting much, especially sense I'm demi, I don't put a lot of weight behind exteriors...only in the case of visibly poor hygiene or a weight that would case eharm to their health (and when I say this, I mean really in the extreme sense, as I've been engaged to someone who was a little overweight before). I often feel I'm not understood, respected or shown the type of care, tenderness and affection I give. Beyond someone being kind, loyal and respectful, this is all ask for. Just feeling very dejected and hopeless. I would and have looked for a demi like myself but we are rare and far between.

...See more Would like to make some friends who are actually demis too. No one else seems to understand it. For anyone who's open, I'd love to chat or even do beautiful, traditional handwritten snail mail if you wish. I'm (a very youthful) 30 and into filmmaking, sports (tennis, rock climbing/boulder), book collecting, creative writing,(novels and scripts), scrapbooking, animals, theater/musicals and travel to name a few. I'm pretty isolated here in the Corona years. Plus, I relocated for a new joband don't know anyone here. Would be nice to just have a few deep conversations with someone.
