...See more I am hurting. I am sad. For years I have poured my heart and soul into this relationship. I have spent countless hours doing everything in my power to achieve your vision. Your dreams. It was never enough. Of course you offered all the right platitudes. Gave the desert of my insecurity just enough water to not die and then cut me with your criticism. My everything was not perfect so it was not enough. Do more. Be better. Learn from this. Well my pain has turned to stone and my sorrow has chiselled it into a weapon. I am angry. How dare you cut me, how dare you make me cry. I fashion this stoney heart into a battle-axe and from now on I pour my energy into myself. I hope you go blind in the wake of this rising star. I am glory, I am wonderful. And in my righteous retribution upon this cold corporate world... I will be the goddess of success.
