...See more Hi! I just needed some help with understanding the difference between a psychological assessment and a psychiatric assessment. I was considering taking a psychological assessment because it is what i found available at the moment but then i heard about psychiatric assessment and now i’m kinda confused on what the difference is. What can i expect from them?

...See more I had an initial screening with a psychologist recently and was diagnosed with dysthymia and anxiety. I plan on transferring to a different clinic because of accessibility. However I’m at a loss on whether i should talk to a psychologist or a psychiatrist. Please help, thank you! :)
