...See more I feel the need to constantly respond to rude and disrespectful people at the work place not because of pride but to protect my mental well beinga and avoid breaking down. I have been emotionally abused and no one cares even after seeking time off I was denied permission to go to a therapist. It's difficult to get over people gossiping me all the time especially when the subject of gossip finally gets to me. I became the subject of gossip for defending myself in a case of sexual harrasment so now the story goes that I am repulsive to men in the office and this experience torments me almost daily. I am avoided like a plague I guess because I don't talk much and I am always on the defensive because people attack me without listening to my side of the story.At some point all I did was wake up and show up with no one to talk to. I dread showing up in the same office space eveyday and I have lost the gusto brilliance and creativity I had when I joined. I loathe team building activities because people deliberately avoid me.My speech and thought process is distorted and having small talks had become so difficult. With this painful experience I dread facing each day
