I have almost forgotten what I like to do for fun. I love the water. I love to swim, raft the river in the summer, and paddle a paddle board.  I enjoy a good book to read. I love people. I especially love my husband of 10+ years.  I have been overly consumed with his healthcare, taking care of him, managing his meds, getting him to the appropriate specialists and keeping our house calm.  He appears to have a rare form of dementia, which has been all consuming.  I am working on taking care of myself.  As my Doctor put it, “you can’t take care of anyone else if you can’t take care of yourself”. So here I am.  One of many things to take care of me.  I know he would want that.
