Anxiety Is Taking Over My Life
Anxiety Support / by cbailey

...See more Hi everyone! I’m not quite sure how all this works, yet, but here I am anyways. My name is Cay, I’m a 30 year old mum to two living overseas away from family. I recently came to realize that I am living with some crazy anxiety that is affecting every part of my life and especially my relationships, especially when it gets to the point that it manifests as anger… This morning I started a list of things that kick off the physical feelings of anxiety because I feel like if I can get a handle on those then maybe I can find out some tools to fix things before I get to the anger point. And it is already such a huge list. I feel like almost everything makes me anxious and honestly seeing that makes me want to just break down and cry. And thinking honestly, I do worry constantly about everything, all the time. It’s exhausting and it’s really hard for me to show up as the person I want to be. While researching anxiety and things I can do to help myself I came across a few tests and took them for fun. Every one came back with an anxiety score of 100% and urged me to seek immediate help from a therapist… which I am not sure I’m ready for yet, and also not sure how that would work in this country, however I agree that I should be reaching out for some kind of support… I guess I’m just looking for maybe some guidance here on how to navigate through it? Some advice on what works for you, if you struggle with it, or good resources, next steps? I would greatly appreciate advice on how to navigate anxiety when it manifests as anger. Thank you guys so much.
