...See more My husband always seems to blame me for any of the problems occurring between us. Especially money. I am at home with our son and working on post grad work for teaching so he makes the money. We agreed on this when I got pregnant. But he tells me that the money is his and I spend it all and it is all my fault but my bills are the ones that dont get paid. Lately, he has decided that I have to distance myself from my family. They have caused me stress but his mother has verbally attacked me in the past and did the day I have birth to our son. I can't ask to do anything or want anything otherwise, he throws a fit and we have fights. He doesn't respond in conversations and he starts nasty fights but refuses to talk. I have tried to leave but cannot no matter the support around me. All I can do is wait it out, keep my head down, and wait for karma to hit him over the head. When things are good - they're good. I think about how much I love him and how close we are but then this happens and it reminds me - I am being controlled. He used to hit me and hasn't in a long, long time but I also have tried to remain submissive in fights and that seems to help. He walks out a lot and then tells me I'm running away when I walk out. I used to forget about it when things got better, but I am starting to see past that.
